The Canadian Salsa Dance Corporation
The Canadian Salsa Dance Corporation is a non-profit organization that promotes Latin music, dance and culture while uniting people of all ages and ethnicities. The mission is to inspire creative advances in the field of Latin dance by providing information, education and networking opportunities for semi-professional and professional artists in the dance sector.
The artistic directors and organizers of the Montreal Salsa Convention are once again the dynamic duo of Sonia Kyriacou and Moris Alvarenga, founders of the San Tropez Dance School in Montreal.
“We have a few surprises in store, but MSC will maintain its rich and unusual programming, always with the goal of bringing all Latin dance and music lovers together in one space!”

This is one of the largest events of its kind in the country! At our last convention in 2019, over 5,000 participants joined in the madness. After a two-year hiatus, this year’s event will stand out even more with a dance renaissance and its 17th anniversary. “We have a few surprises in store, but MSC will maintain its rich and unusual programming, always with the goal of bringing all Latin dance and music lovers together in one space!” explains Sonia Kyriacou, producer and artistic director of the event.
