Opening Night & Extreme Latin Dance Competition Schedule

Location: Grand Salon Opera and Soprano, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, 1255 Jeanne Mance Street, Montreal, Quebec, H5B 1E5, Canada

4:00pm – Vendors Setup

Four-day vendors are permitted to begin setting up in the Grand Salon Opera foyer.

3:00pm to 6:00pm – Competitor Check-in

• Competitor check-in starts. Thursday evening Showcase participants must register with Competition Coordinators at the venue to receive your competitor number, submit music (if not previously provided), and verify your entry in the appropriate divisions.
• ALL Thursday evening participants MUST check in by 6:00pm; failure to do so will result in disqualification from the competition.

5:00pm – Doors Open

Admission is open to the general public. All participants who bought passes in advance can collect their passes. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the venue (door prices).

6:00pm – Showcase Competitions

• Solo Male Showcases
• Solo Female Showcases
• Amateur Team Showcases
• Pro-Am Team Showcases
• Professional Showcases

Important Reminders:

• Complete list of Thursday evening competition categories and divisions will be posted on our website by May 15th.
• There will be no tech rehearsal for the competition or performance shows. Please consult the “SHOW” page by April 15th for the confirmed lineup of schools and performers for the particular daily show.
• Registration is ongoing for all participants scheduled to compete on Thursday evening and Friday. Please approach competition staff located at the foyer of the Grand Salon Opera to receive your competitor number, submit your music files, confirm your entries, and review the Friday schedule.
• We strongly advise all Friday competitors to check in on Thursday whenever feasible.
• Submit music via link on our website (to be provided by April 30th).
• We reserve the right to make changes.
