Carlos & Sofia
Carlos Zapata and Sofia Skvirsky are a world renown professional cabaret and theatre arts dance couple. Performing and competing professionally for 8 years, they have taken audiences by storm with their intricate lifts and tricks combined with their heart felt story telling routines that truly set them apart and bring audiences to their feet with every performance. Combined, they have won 65+ dance competitions in the professional cabaret category. Together Carlos and Sofia combine their prior individual and shared titles resulting as a combined 9x Canadian show dance champions, and 3 time world pro am theater arts championship titles.
Throughout their partnership, they had the honour to make it to the finals and represent Canada in one of the most prestigious competitions worldwide, Blackpool Dance Festival, with only 10 international couples who were selectively invited. They were also invited through one of AGT’s senior casting directors to compete on popular TV show America’s Got Talent Season 13 in 2018. As one the top dancers in the world, They are hired to teach dance workshops, choreograph, coach and train dancers of all styles, and of all levels. Carlos and Sofia are actively competing and performing on a variety of stages nationally and internationally.
