DANCER/PERFORMER PASS INFORMATION

• Please send all the names of performers to info@montrealsalsaconvention.com ASAP
• A unique code will be assigned to you, sent to your Team Leader/School Director/Teacher.
• All performers MUST acquire a Performer/Dancers Pass in advance via the Convention's website.
• You'll need the code for Pass access.
• Only actively participating team members qualify for discounted Passes.
• Passes are non-refundable, non-transferrable.
• Bring photo ID to collect your pass at the venue's Performers Booth.
• Wristbands are mandatory; replacements cost $50 if lost.

DEADLINES

• March 15th, price change of Performers Pass from $239.00 to $249.00
• April 1st, final day of submission of application for performance.
• April 15th, price change of Performers Pass from $249.00 to $259.00
• April 15th, last day to send your rehearsal or performance video.
• April 20th, last day to submit your performance music.
• May 1st, price change of Performers Pass from $259.00 to $279.00

TECH REHEARSALS AND CALL TIMES

• No formal technical rehearsal.
• Performance order determined by Artistic Director; displayed backstage by 4 pm daily.
• Evening shows start at 9:00 pm sharp; Sunday Rising Star Show at 5:00 pm.
• Evening show participants must be in stage area by 8:00 pm in full costume.
• Rising Star Show participants must be in stage area by 4:00 pm in full costume.
• Backstage location for Thursday & Friday & Sunday : " Backstage area located at the same level as grand salon, in Soprano ".
• Backstage location for Saturday : "Backstage area located one level above the venue, in Symphonie 1."
• Missing your stage call forfeits your slot; shows start promptly at 9:00 pm and run about two hours.
• Stage dimensions: approximately 28’ x 20’ (width x depth), with stairs on each side.

MUSIC SUBMISSION

Submission of music for performances and competition showcase divisions is required in advance.

• Music submission deadline: April 20th
• Include EXACT team name as listed on the Schedule Page, especially for multiple teams.
• File Naming: {GroupName}{TeamName}{Genre}_{Show/Competition}
• Examples:
• SanTropez_AmateurTeam_Bachata_Show.mp3
• Sonia_Moris_Salsa_Show.mp3
